Most will read a few lines and then hurriedly click away.

Window cleaning is one of the most popular jobs for men who have just left prison.
It is also common to find that many window cleaners are working in addition to their full time job.
Some are a ‘jack of all trades’ offering everything from window cleaning to rubbish removal house clearances and I even heard of one who brewed and sold his own beer!
Most window cleaners and gutter cleaners don’t see this as their long term profession.
The result is that most window cleaners, eventually disappear!

- You are not bothered if your window cleaner is a thief or on the sex offenders register
- You don’t care if your window cleaner doesn’t come for months without informing you.
- You are not fussed if your window cleaner smokes and throws the cigarette butt on your lawn.
- You are happy with a window cleaner that needs the toilet and uses your garden as a public convenience.
- You don’t care if your window cleaner climbs over your fence or leaves your gate open.
- If your window cleaner causes damage, you are happy for home to hide the damage and deny it was him.
- You are happy if your window cleaner is uninsured.
- You are not fussed if your window cleaner breaks all health and safety laws leaving you open to the liability.
- You don’t mind if your window cleaner upsets your neighbours.
Reviews can be dangerous…
I am contacted on almost a daily basis but companies offering to supply me with fictitious online reviews.
Any window cleaner or gutter cleaner that pays for or incentivises reviews are deliberately deceiving prospective clients.
I have been encouraging my clients for 17 years to leave reviews and have managed 57 reviews. When I see other window cleaning companies with 3 years in business with more reviews I am suspicious and you should be too.
So – How can you find the right cleaner?
It has always been my intention to help clients to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Self praise is no recommendation and we know that you can’t trust reviews (you can trust mine by the way, they are all from real clients!)
But I made it really easy for you…
I put myself and my company forward to be independently checked by leading consumer group Which.
They checked all of my paperwork, insurance and that I have a full DBS certificate to check that i’m not a criminal.
Then I had to have a two hour interview with a former trading standards officer who now works for Which.
Then – Which contacted my clients and asked them directly to vouch for me.
As part of my endorsement, Which also back up my complaints Policy. Not that they need to as I always make sure that my clients are happy even if it leaves my out of pocket.
